Swimsuit Patch


Just a quick little update to fix some issues from the demo release.

Patch Notes:

  • Swimsuit armor is now displayed in Combat (4 New images added.)
  • Swimsuit armor damage level is now visibly displayed in combat as well as in  dialogue (4 combat images and 3 dialogue images added.)
  • Fixed an issue where crawling through the bramble would cause Red's Main Outfit to be damaged regardless of what/if any armor was worn.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed the player to freely remove Red's clothing (This will require a new game to take effect.)
  • Fixed an event that triggers when the player attempts to remove their armor.
  • Fixed some graphical errors with Red's bust art/s.
  • Minor tweaks with combat and enemy behavior.
  • Reworked The Abomination's skill list and attack patterns.

Other than that, I do have plans for at least ONE more update before the big "Halloween Update."  I'm going to try to squeeze in the events proper for losing in combat to the Cute Slime, Vile Shroom and Drunkard enemy to replace the unfinished placeholders.  As well as updating some other events to take into account if Red is wearing the Swimsuit or not.  I MIGHT do a more combat oriented fix before the Halloween Update to make Tarot Cards more worth using as well as I'm not currently happy with their rates.

loving the new update danny. wonderful game, and still looking forward to it. keep up the good work.

I have a doubt, is the king slime the boss of the demo? I think I fought him so early in the game

Defeating the Slime King will end this demo build yes.  So it's possible to speedrun straight to him at any point after speaking with the Carpenter.  Or you can take your time and explore the main forest zone to collect the logs
