Performance Hot Fix!
Thank you for all your reports! Once again let me apologize for the performance issues.
I did a thorough check across both my PC and Mac and believe I've isolated what was causing the trouble. It appeared to be a rogue plugin that was tanking performance. Now I haven't had time to do extensive testing to make sure this didn't break anything unintentionally but as it was related to the way pictures were displayed I don't believe any crashing should come out of this. Do let me know if you experience any issues though.
What confuses me the most about this though is that said plugin has ALWAYS been part of the public demos here. And while it explains why my mac has always had issues, why all of you suddenly started having them with the PT is beyond me. That being said my 2025 windows PC runs the game at 60 fps in every map but the merchant camp. And my 2015 worst stats imaginable desperation buy Mac laptop is now running the game above 50 fps and even hitting 60 in most areas as well. So if this DOESN'T solve the issue for you I'm really not sure where to look next as both my machines are really not struggling at all.
I've also fixed an issue where the Goddess Statue in the Abandoned Mines lower level would mistakenly spawn Red outside the play area.
Please redownload the PT and let me know if your performance issues have been fixed. Once again, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience this caused!
